Book Review: The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling (The Jungle Book #1)

I tried to read this one before rather recently (I think 2018-2019-ish) and it was honestly one of the hardest books I've ever had to get through. And this wasn't because I went in thinking I'd dislike it; far from it. I was excited to read Mowgli's story (and some others). But let's re-visit it today to properly review it. Spoilers ahead.

Book Review: Ascendant's Rite by David Hair (Moontide Quartet #4)

Originally didn't plan on finishing this series, but since I got so far I might as well, this being the last book and all. Spoilers ahead.

Book Review: Blood and Bone by Erin Hunter (Bravelands #3)

Halfway through the first arc. Despite some minor gripes I had with them, I really liked the previous two books. So how about the third? Spoilers ahead.

Book Review: Broken Pride by Erin Hunter (Bravelands #1)

Guess who is finally getting to the Bravelands series after quite some time? Yep, it be me. Originally didn't want to pick up this series after the whole Gillian Philip debacle, but now that she has been booted off the Erin Hunter team I feel right picking up the series. Besides, she's not the only person to have had a hand in this series, Clarissa Hutton also does/did, and then there's arc 2 which is being written by different authors than Philip.

So let's have a look. Spoilers ahead.

Book Review: River by Erin Hunter (Warriors: A Starless Clan #1)

I can't believe I finally made it. After 10+ years of catching up to current Warriors releases, I finally get to experience an arc while it's actually happening, and not a few years after the fact. So this is somewhat new territory for me as all other arcs at least in some way had been spoiled for me, intentionally or not. The community doesn't exactly excel at marking their spoilers and even when they do there's a lot of sites that have horrid muted word filtering systems. Ah well. Let's dive in. Spoilers ahead, as always.

Book Review: Buckriders, the Scandal of Limburg by François Van Gehuchten I & II

Note: The title of these books has been translated into English by me for the reading comprehension of this blog's viewers as the book itself isn't available in English (yet). The original title reads Bokkenrijders: De Schande van Limburg

So despite my love for history, I don't really read all that much history non-fiction these days. But when something does peak my interest (e.g. the subject of Buckriders) I will obviously check it out! So here's my review of two historical nonfiction books about the Buckrider trials held in the Dutch province of Limburg in the 18th century!

Book Review: Blood Moon by R. Weinstein (Redstone #2)

The second and presumably last in the Redstone series. I covered Nashoga before, so now let's take a gander at the sequel, spoilers ahead.
