Okay, so I didn't review book one on this blog because it had an AI-generated cover (which I didn't figure out until after I'd finished reading it), so I just wrote a brief one-star review on Goodreads, since I don't want any AI shit on this blog.

Now for book two the author seems to have at least partially learned her lesson by getting a proper cover artist. So okay, fair enough, I was willing to give the series a second chance if the author is willing to listen to criticism. Let's take a look at if book two is any better. Spoilers ahead.

Book Review: Wolvers by Taylor Brown

Book about wolves. I check it out. You know the drill. Spoilers ahead.

Book Review: Double Trouble by Jenny Dale (Puppy Patrol #4)

Another Puppy Patrol book. Spoilers ahead.

Side note: This is the fourth book in the series, but the second book I'm reviewing. This is because I don't own all the books of this series (there's a lot). Also, not all of them have been translated into Dutch (yet). However, this series is pretty much an anthology and can be read out of order. So it shouldn't be an issue.

Book Review: Teacher's Pet by Jenny Dale (Puppy Patrol #1)

Ah, the Puppy Patrol books. Massive nostalgia for me. The Dutch translations of these are some of the earliest books I remember devouring as a kid.

Last week I visited a secondhand book store and to my surprise, they had a small selection of Puppy Patrol books available. So I bought them with the purpose of reading and reviewing them, and of course just enjoying them and reliving some nostalgia. Spoilers ahead.

Book Review: Rain Must Fall by Ryder Phoenix (Rainbow Reflections #5)

A book I've been interested in reading like forever. Spoilers ahead.

Book Review: Keeper's Travels in Search of His Master by Edward Augustus Kendall

This is a book I picked up not because it particularly interesting to me, but rather for the context around it: It being one of the first published xenofiction novels we know of. I managed to find a public domain ebook of it and gave it a read. Spoilers ahead (for as far as one can see spoilers for a 200+ year old book as actual spoilers).

Another wolf xenofiction I randomly came across one day, instantly bought, and instantly read. Spoilers ahead.

Book Review: The Golden Palace of Ula by Chen Jiatong (The White Fox #4)

Note: This book has, at the time of publishing this review, not been translated into English (yet). I am unable to read the original Chinese release, therefore I'll be basing my review on the German and Dutch editions which I read.

The final book in the main White Fox story. There's some more spin-offs after this, but this concludes the main arc as far as I know. Spoilers ahead.

Book Review: Coyote Island by Sophie Torro (The Wolves of Elementa)

Not entirely sure where this is positioned in the Wolves of Elementa series, but my guess is after book two but maybe even later. Ah well, spoilers ahead.

Book Review: The Yukon Wolf by Brett Roehr (The Yukon Wolf #1)

Accidentally came across this while browsing Goodreads and you know me, I'll read any wolf xenofiction I can get my hands on. Spoilers ahead.
