Another non-fiction for younger readers, this time about jaguars. It just looked interesting to me.
In this book, Huntrods gives us a brief overview of the jaguar. It delves into where they live, what they eat, their hunting techniques and behavior, etc.
Overall a good book and it does look really good (the many photos and playful layout is bound to keep any kid's attention), however I personally thought it was just a bit too basic. Not a lot of in-depth information is being given here and it's not bad, I'd just personally have liked a little bit more. Still, this is not a bad introduction to the jaguar for younger readers.
Heck, it even taught me some new things. For example, I had no idea jaguars were such avid hunters in the water. Really cool stuff.
So just an okay book overall, but not bad, either!
